Are there any other options? Restarted computer and now have no problem with sound and once again 24GB of memory is available. My last check indicated there were no more updates available.Computer Hardware is an ASUS P4S800 Motherboard with 512Mb of memory.I can't help but wonder if this is purely coincidental or whether Windows 7 Failed To Play Test Tone Uninstalling the driver and restarting computer worked for me.
