Then install the other versions one by one and see how it goes. thanks! Which really sucks because I know that is the solution to my problem, but nVidia won't let me fix it! :D ErikSvensson10-07-2007, 10:09 PMThough, does pentium D has multiple cores? No success. check over here
Arne 24 January, 2016 Reply Thanks a lot, worked fine for me with Geforce 7800 Gt. Thus, after upgrading you need to install the NVIDIA driver. Erik Animatik.org09-15-2007, 07:08 PMI think this has nothing to do with my PC: PENTIUM D, 4GB RAM, 500GB HD, WinXP 32bit, dual monitor, I think this has to do with sh#$ty Just Download Now! --> Copyright © 2015-2016 Nvidia Driver Download. http://www.nvidiadriver-downloadandupdate.com/Download_NVidia_GeForce_8800_GTX_WHQL_certified_driver_v_186_18.html
To them I say, follow the instructions, they work! now what is your cpu i tested this on my home vista64 2x Quad Xeon 16 gb ram and work machine wich is pretty much the same but winXP 32/64 helped The problem I am having is that the "Threaded Optimization" option is not under "Manage 3D Settings" like it is supposed to be, and I am 90% sure that this is ive got no idea.
So - anyway - turning it off is only constrained to the maya application, and any other will use it as it will be needed then. Could it be because of the redesign of the cards that they are struggling in Maya? Threaded didnt help anyhow so i keep it on =) well, if I turn it on, maya´s viewports almost immediately start to make this freezy thing again. TLobes11-05-2007, 08:14 AMI switched from an ATI X1900XT to an NVidia 7950GX2 (thanks to an RMA swap) and the Maya viewport performance was far better with the NV card.
its like 3000000 poly sphere and rotating the viewport at a framerate of 1.9 frames a sec... This was brilliant and so simple to follow. That allows you to have opengl on both monitors, but your screens act as one wide screen.. sethioz 122,554 views 15:56 How to fix nvidia driver crashes windows 7/8.1/10 - Duration: 6:14.
However drivers 179.48 wouldn't allow newer games to load (Darkest Dungeon for example). Andy 4 February, 2016 Reply Good post - thank you. This procedure is also what I do if I cannot repair windows using sfc /scannow or dism. And what i can do to fix it?
which is annoying sometimes. Setting up nvidia-current (304.125-0ubuntu0.0.1) … Setting up nvidia-libopencl1-304 (304.125-0ubuntu0.0.1) … Setting up nvidia-opencl-icd-304 (304.125-0ubuntu0.0.1) … Setting up screen-resolution-extra (0.17.1) … Setting up nvidia-settings (331.20-0ubuntu8) … Processing triggers for libc-bin … ldconfig Well, these silly " freezing" viewports was really anoiing with the usual driver. Please try again later. Loading... None of the drivers provided in software-sources worked for me.

I ran most of the upgrade at night while I was sleeping, but it still took some daytime hours as well). I had the same issue upgrading to Windows 10. Regarding the “threaded optimization” option, it is EXTREMELY rare, I have tried before exactly as you say regarding the selection of maya.exe in particular and have done this with ALL DRIVERS, ErikSvensson: oops sorry then, only skimmed through the replies so I probably misread somewhere. :wise: ErikSvensson10-11-2007, 10:33 AMKylehug: I believe it should, because the 64bit one has it.
I use a 32bit PC with 4GB RAM and a 19" Fujitsu/Siemens monitor 4:3 with 1280×1024 resolution. As a precaution I ran the following before your commands:sudo apt-get remove -purge nvidia*I followed this with your three commands and I now have the fx 4500 installed and running.
