This has led me to believe that the 4970 would bottleneck my 2 (Or potentially 3) graphics cards.Again I really want this thing to last me for some time before having Currently using an AM3+ socket board and I cannot decide: AMD FX 8300 or AMD FX 9370?My GPU is Asus Radeon R9 270 2GB. 3 answers Last reply Nov 23, 2015 Inventor actually has three or four levels depending on whether it's free standing or part of a suite and the orientation of the suite. The amd vs intel arguement is up for you to decide I won't weigh in on that just if you're going to build intel build a haswell rig LS_7Nov 25, 2013,

But what you said about the bottle necking looks very similar to what I read. And every one of them is a 125W cpu. It will be fine with an RX 480. Can't find your answer ?

  • You seem to be quite convinced of your own understanding.
  • This is not always true, but is generally correct assumptionlink to pichttp://www.playtool.com/pages/psuconnectors/12v4pin.jpghttp://www.playtool.com/pages/psuconnectors/eps.jpg my mb has a robust 8+1 power phase system with 140W cpu compatibility, and it's just a 4 pin.
  • I've found with CPUZ that under the CPU section, within the package area it tells what kind of package you have.
  • It will be fine with an RX 480.

If you go with a graphics card, your system will be majorly bottlenecked. If you plan to do a lot of editing/rendering and you want it to do it faster, then go with the 5820k, otherwise the 6700k will suffice. The Q6600 will be a major bottleneck with a 280X, especially in multiplayer for BF3/BF4. It's another option to consider. Let me requote it. If you have instability in rendering or simulations, the non-certified card gets blamed. I already have two GTX 980s for SLi and I'm considering getting a third for three-way.My primary goal for this PC is to really pump it up for some 4K gaming

as for heat, 41W is nothing and 45W is next to nothing. That's where the 4790k falls short. Ask ! http://visu3d.com/solved-help/solved-help-in-choosing-a-monitor.html And wouldn't build one for someone else unless they requested it specifically.
