It is neither part of your hard drive, nor part of your operating system. Take it to your local electronics shop and they'll give you a replacement (Radio Shack, Best Buy, etc….).

Was it working prior and quit or has it always been this way? now the hard drive isnt recognized by the bios, will not show up under my computer when set as a slave on a different desktop and will not show up under I also run every kind of disk tests from hirens boot cd and everything seams to be alright, no errors at all.
