Flag Permalink This was helpful (0) Collapse - Ask yourself this. More about Leo. I'm assuming that the drive is using the NTFS file system (as mine was), which would explain why Win 98 can't see it. Unless I'm missing something it sounds like you simply need to follow the rest of my instructions which involve creating a partition on the now unpartitioned drive. Anything else? Bought a brand new Seagate Barracuda 500Gb PATA drive and after playing around with it, the drive became a 137Gb drive.
