Take a cable from the modem and connect to the wireless router, look for an Internet, Wan, or WLAN port. you know what i mean?

Thankfully she has unlimited data so it wasn't a huge issue. I'm not quite sure how to "reboot" the router either, as there's no definite power button, but there's a button on the front that I tried pressing a few times that Quick update, I got my problem fixed.
